Add EDTA to Tris hydrochloric acid buffer to make "TE buffer", TE buffer is used for DNA stabilization and storage live. The "TAE (Tris/Acetate/EDTA) buffer solution" can be obtained by replacing the hydrochloric acid to adjust the pH value with acetic acid.
Boric acid gets "TBE (Tris/Borate/EDTA) buffer".
